About HWPure
Explore the story behind HWPure, a hub for benchmark data and insights on hardware performance.
About HWPure Project
HWPure (formerly known as Re-Life Hardware List Project) is an independent project that focuses on testing and documenting hardware performance through data collection done entirely independently.
The data available on HWPure are synthetic test results that are accurate and reliable for long periods of time, even lifetimes. The project is under the full control of HakimYusa, with the official name HWPure since revision v0.1. Previously, the project was known as the Re-Life Hardware List Project, which reached its final revision v1.1.
The main goal of the project is to document hardware and benchmark hardware performance, both through synthetic testing and real-world scenarios. However, most of the currently available data focuses on synthetic testing to provide objective and consistent results.
As a long-term, or even lifelong project, HWPure keeps the data updated regularly following the development of new hardware every year.
What sets HWPure apart is its independence: the project is completely self-managed with no affiliation or influence from any party. Every data and test result reflects the pure efforts of the project managers, which ensures the transparency and credibility of the published data.
Background why I made this project
HWPure was born out of a desire to provide completely independent, transparent and reliable hardware benchmark data. As a tech enthusiast, I realized that a lot of benchmark data out there comes from sources that don't always paint an objective picture, often due to affiliations with certain hardware manufacturers or other commercial influences.
This project started with a simple goal: to provide information that is completely pure and tested by myself, without any outside interference. I wanted to create a database that everyone, be it end-users, techies, or other tech enthusiasts, could rely on to understand real hardware performance without bias.
In addition, I felt it was important to fill a void in the world of hardware testing, especially for devices that may not always get much attention from the tech media. By testing hardware first-hand and documenting the results, I hope to provide useful guidance to anyone looking to make decisions based on solid data.
This project is also part of my passion for technology. I believe that every piece of hardware has a story, and through careful testing and documentation, we can uncover the true potential of the technology.
At its core, HWPure is an attempt to create something more than just a benchmark site. It is a platform for sharing accurate, independent, and relevant data, which serves as a source of information for anyone who needs transparency and credibility in understanding hardware.
