About GFXBench - Manhattan

GFXBench - Manhattan is a graphics benchmark test that measures a GPU's ability to render 3D scenes using the OpenGL ES or Metal API. The test features complex scenes that include dynamic lighting effects, shadows, and high-detail textures, as well as other graphical elements rendered in real time. Manhattan tests the GPU's performance in processing advanced graphical effects, including tessellation, lighting, and complex mathematical calculations in 3D object rendering.

In the Manhattan test, GPUs are tested at various levels of graphics quality and resolution to assess how the hardware can handle different types of visual effects and deliver stable frame rates. The results of this benchmark provide a very useful insight into the GPU's ability to manage 3D graphics at medium to high resolutions, and are perfect for assessing hardware performance in mobile applications or games that require lighter graphics rendering while still prioritizing good visuals.
