About VRMark - Blue Room

VRMark - Blue Room is the most demanding benchmark test in the VRMark test suite, designed to measure hardware performance in handling virtual environments with very high graphics quality and more complex levels of interaction. In Blue Room, VR scenes feature highly detailed dynamic lighting effects, objects with a higher degree of polygons, and highly detailed textures. The test is extremely challenging, requiring the GPU and CPU to work to their full potential in rendering and simulating VR environments with extremely high frame rates, which is critical for a smooth and uninterrupted VR experience. Blue Room is used to test the ability of the latest generation of hardware to cope with VR with the best visual quality and very intensive computational processing, and measures the extent to which the system can maintain a stable frame rate in very high graphics settings. The results of this test are used to compare VR performance on high-end hardware and to determine whether the system can handle premium VR experiences with maximum visual quality.
